U-bar-U sunset

Sunset over cement pond at the U-bar-U retreat center in Mountain Home Texas. It's a big cement stock tank that doubles as a swimming hole. The color in the sky came from another picture and the entire image was run through simplifier to get a bit of abstraction.

The labyrinth at Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church in Cedar Park Texas. It's a five shot panorama using an 18 mm lens on a Nikon D300.

Moonrise over the Labyrinth

This is a composite that began with an HDR panorama. The candles around the circumference of the labyrinth were actually there but the moon was added in with Photoshop.

Sunset in Sedona Arizona

It was a cold November evening and we drove through a snow squall as the sun started to head for the horizon. We parked the car and ran up to the top of the hill where we could see the entire valley. The setting sun caught the snow squall at the left just as the red rocks were lit up on the right. It's a panorama shot with the Sony NEX-7.

Post office in McNeil Texas

McNeil has only two sets of buildings. The post office and the White Lime Company. No gas stations, no houses, not even a bank. This is a 3 shot HDR panorama carefully composited in Photoshop to put the railroad tracks just about dead center.
